I have over 30 years of financial, operational and strategic experience, much within the professional sports industry: controller at teams such as Philadelphia Phillies, New York Knicks, New York Rangers (as part of Madison Square Garden, LLC). I subsequently went on to be CFO of the Baltimore Ravens. I was also the CFO of the Detroit Lions and the COO of the Detroit Pistons.
I have also run the Modell family office (former owner of the Ravens), where I led investments across private equity, venture capital and other alternative assets.
I now devote time to advisory and non-executive roles for entrepreneurial organizations. I have also been interested in philanthropy: I served ten years on the Board of The SEED Foundation, a non-profit organization that builds and operates college preparatory boarding schools for underprivileged children in underserved communities.
I migrated from Cuba as a young child. I received my Bachelor of Science from The College of New Jersey.
