For the last 10 years I have been very active in angel investing and early stage venture investing. I am a founding investor in the UK fintech Bumper, and helped take it to a successful Series B in 2024. I have been a member of The Bricks Club since 2019, and worked closely with BCV on its first ever investment exit where I was involved on the portfolio company’s board.
After qualifying as a barrister, I spent over 20 years in the legal profession, ultimately as a senior partner in the international law firm, Appleby. During my tenure, I built a market-leading litigation team, culminating in my role as global head of investment fund disputes. I retired from the legal profession in 2017.
I am appointed to numerous non-executive and independent director positions, as recognition of my expertise in combining the nurturing and mentoring aspect of directorships with my broader responsibilities to the business.
I have an MA (Hons) from the University of Oxford.
