For the last 10 years I have been very active as an investor within angel investing and early stage venture investing. I am pleased that I could work closely with BCV on its first ever investment exit and where I was involved on the portfolio company’s board.
After qualifying as a barrister, I spent 20 years in the legal profession, ultimately as partner in a legal services firm, Appleby. During my career, I had a lot of litigation experience, particularly in my role as global head of investment fund disputes. I retired from the law profession in 2017.
I have non-executive and independent director experience and therefore understand the importance of combining the nurturing and mentoring aspect of directorships with the balance for my responsibilities.
I was educated in the UK at Oxford.
