Founding Partner

I have been seed investing for almost 25 years.

I was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group across the Asia Pacific region, 2000 - 2005. This included numerous industries, directorships and the launch of Virgin Radio International. I also developed and managed a China-focused telecom investment joint venture with Japan's NTT DoCoMo. I led over $1.5bn of transactions for the Group.

In my career, I’ve had senior roles at Universal Studios and also at National Geographic Society. I also ran investment banking firm, The Magna Group.

In my early corporate finance days, I worked extensively in Technology, Media & Telecoms, including IPOs, funds, private placement and M&A advisory work.

I served on the International Advisory Board of the Singapore Government's Media Development Authority and I currently serve as a board member for the UK's Open University Business School, whose MBA is ranked (by CEO Magazine) number 1 in the UK and joint 12th in the World.
